Cheeky Obama now blames the British !

Mister O. is really cheeky : now he is trying to put the blame on the British for the Christmas Day bombing attempt on an airliner bound for Detroit.
This is of course to avoid acknowledging the total failure of his own administration.

We already knew that Obama is a man with a lot of flaws, but now, he is displaying another very unpleasant side of his personality : insincerity and cowardice !

Disgusting !

In any case, the British are determined to retaliate, and they are right :

There were signs of tensions between Washington and London on Tuesday, after the UK government was obliged to clarify claims that British intelligence services had passed information to the US about Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab at the end of 2008.

The claims, made by the prime minister’s spokesman on Monday, broke with the usual diplomatic protocol of not discussing the sharing of intelligence with allies, and prompted US officials to counter that their UK allies had made a “mistake”.

Alan Johnson, the British home secretary, said on Tuesday that “no information was either held by the UK or shared by the UK with the US that indicated that Abdulmutallab was about to attempt a terrorist attack against the US”.

British officials stood by claims that they had passed on information about Mr Abdulmutallab’s attempts to get in contact with extremist Islamist groups while in the UK, but that he had not been singled out as a particular risk or of posing a direct security threat.

The issue is sensitive for the White House, which has launched a review to establish why the attempted attack was not halted in spite of warnings from Abdulmutallab’s father.

So what I can tell you is that the Obama / Brown relationship is getting colder and colder, as this is not the first time Obama has treated his English counterpart with a total lack of respect.

As far as British people are concerned, it probably doesn't surprise them, because they are already totally disillusioned, like a lot of Europeans... 
For a few weeks they have begun to understand who Obama really is, so here it's just another proof that what Obama does best is go on holiday...
