OBAMA AND THE "57 STATES"

Some will say this is nothing but an anecdote...
But how laughable as it may seem, I really think that the whole thing is more than an anecdote.

We have told this story before of Obama's shameful ignorance. The man who has become the 44th president of the USA does not even know how many states there are in the Union. He committed a mistake that a primary school child would not have made...
Not so long ago, Obama said he had visited all "the 57 states".




So Barack Obama has become the leader of the American states, but he does not know how many they are.

Well, never mind...

If we are telling this story again today, it is to give an example of the way the media covered this election. Not once has any MSM spoken about it : Obama's gaffe only appeared on the Internet.

American networks did their best to portray Sarah Palin as Mrs Stupid, the one who said one day : "I can see Russia from the window of my house."
Everybody remembers Tina Fey, disguised as Sarah Palin, and the success her show met probably contributed a lot to the creation of the legend : "Sarah Palin is dumb. Don't vote for McCain, for she might become the president of the USA if McCain dies, and that would be a disaster..."


But what people don't know about the "Russia anecdote", is that Mrs Palin never said such a thing. She only spoke about the fact that Alaska is not so far from Russia. Tina Fey is the one who said that, and people came to believe that was Sarah Palin herself !

Fiction ? Reality ?
Television has become so important in people's lives that they are  now unable to make the difference...

In any case, while the MSM were busy portraying Sarah Palin as "A Beauty without a Brain", they never uttered one word about all the gaffes committed by their pet candidate, Barack Obama.

On the other hand, media's coverage undoubtedly favored Democrats and was orientated against the Bush administration in particular, so how could Republicans have won ? Voters were never aware of this fact :
DEMOCRATS, NOT REPUBLICANS HAVE HAD THE MAJORITY IN CONGRESS SINCE 2006 !




A documentary is being shot at the moment by John Ziegler, a former radio talk show host and now a film-maker about how the news media impacted the 2008 election. It will be released in a few weeks.
But John Ziegler has already published on his Internet Site some extracts of the interviews of Obama voters that were made for this documentary, and we can watch them in this video.
Beware ! What you are going to see is simply INCREDIBLE !

People went to the polls to vote for this man whereas they did not know anything about him nor about the political situation in their country. What they knew perfectly on the contrary was the story of Sarah Palin's clothes, and of her pregnant daughter.
These were essential piece of news, weren't they ?

So what we find out here, is that Obama voters did not know that Democrats have the majority in the Senate and in the House. They had never heard of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, who are the main political figures of the USA, after Bush and Cheney !


No doubt ! The media has manipulated the news in such a manner that average people could not know anything negative about Democrats or Obama. The MSM told people to go and vote for Democrats if they wanted change. But they never stressed the fact that Democrats were the ones who supported some very unpopular decisions taken by the Bush administration (like the Paulson plan), whereas Republican Congressmen expressed their strong opposition to the president...


How can people get informed when the media does not do its job ?

How can a citizen resist such a propaganda, when it is so much in favour of one candidate and one party ?

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

81.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

It's not surprising, as this sort of caricatures were constantly published : Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

CONCLUSION

The people who voted Obama are as ignorant as him !
"Obama" ! "Obama !"
They chant his name, but do not know who he is really. And they do not seem to worry about it.
Lucky Obama !
Now he will be free to make them swallow anything he wants...
