No I won’t rejoice, join the choir and beat the drum. Historic or not, Obama’s victory is shrouded in shame. Pure and simple. The shame of overwhelming electoral fraud, at the registration level and during the actual voting processes of the primaries/caucuses and the GE.
But more importantly, more deeply the shame of unabashed openly accepted and encouraged sexism.
Obama and the DNC run their campaign on the back of two exceptional women.

They belittled them, ridiculed them, lied about them, diminished them, embarrassed them, went after their spouse reputation, mudded their family, called them the worst names possible, kick them when they were down, and when for more even after they were out for the count.
The minute they entered the race, their male competitors outraged by their sheer presence in what they always assume was their private playground and theirs only, called for them to get out.
All throughout the primary season, even on the very nights Hillary was winning massively, the MSM and the DNC pundits wanted her to drop out.
Disappear Woman! No women allowed in this arena!
The DNC furious a woman dared to oppose their chosen candidate, let one of their own being shredded to pieces and hung to dry.
That should teach her!
They even encouraged it. They never opposed the blatant sexism of the anchors, the “when I think Hillary I cross my legs” remarks, the obvious bias of the fuzzy math regarding the delegate count, the “Gotcha” moments.
And then Sarah Palin appeared out of left field.
And they nauseated again and started to growl.
It was less than a week before they had send out the worse smear campaign ever designed in modern history.
They attacked her on every possible angle of her private life never ever dignifying her long enough to acknowledge her impeccable and gutsy political career. They never referred to her as Madame Governor, but spent plenty of air time promoting the making of a pornographic movie staring a look-alike.
Many women participated. Shame on them.
But for all the others who voiced their disgust, or bowed their head in silence bracing for the storm and pacing themselves for revenge, I heard you, I saw you. I am with you.
Yes, DNC and all women haters, you won this round, but the war is far from over.
All over the States, grand-mothers and grand-fathers, mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, sisters and brothers, daughters and sons waked up and realized that feminism was still an ugly word.
And they did not like it a bit. Because in that war, you always end up having to sleep with your enemy. And that’s no fun.
Didn’t you know that there is no hell like a woman scorned? Did you really think that such behavior was not going to generate any backlash? Did you really think you had the sole knowledge of community organizing?
Because woman know all about community organizing. They called it militing before you could even shave.
Watch out! You’ve awaken a sleeping giant who will fight once again so that when she is up to leave her childhood dreams behind to embrace her adult aspirations, that little girl will have the real option of being vice-president, not just pretending to be one.
